Abstract

Resilience is a person's attitude of resistance to an undesirable situation. Students who have low resilience tend to be weak individuals in facing problems and challenges that lead to stress, depression, and suicide. There are seven aspects of resilience, namely emotional regulation, impulse control, optimism, analyzing problems, self-efficacy, empathy, and achievement. GroupCounseling, services are one effort that can be used to train a person's self-resilience. In this research, researchers developed a training guidebook using a self-regulated learning to increase student resilience. The research method used is research and development with the presentation of quantitative and qualitative data. From the results of the instruments distributed at SMP Negeri 4 Bojonegoro, 11 students had high resilience with a percentage of 16%.49 students had moderate resilience with a rate of 72%.8 students had low resilience with a percentage of 11%. The results of this guidebook have gone through a trial phase, which consists of three trial stages experts and one trials in small groups experts , namely Guidance Counseling experts, Media experts, potential product users, and trials in small groups. From the results of this assessment, the three experts stated that the self-regulated learning training manual for increasing the resilience of SMP/MTs are very useful, very feasible, very appropriate, and can be used as a guide for SMP/MTs counselors.
