Abstract

The researcher is curious to learn how pre-service English teachers are engaged in peer mentoring and teaching practice as preparation for blended learning, what the student have followed the process and challenges encountered during blended learning peer mentoring in micro-teaching, and know the pre-service English teacher’s experience with peer mentoring practices should help determine how to adapt or enhance the micro-teaching learning process. This research employed a descriptive qualitative research design to understand better how students think and what obstacles or hurdles face peer mentoring in blended learning micro-teaching classes. The subjects of this research are English education department students of Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University in eight semesters academic year 2022/2023. The researcher uses interviews and questionnaires as a source. The results showed that pre-service English teachers have a positive peer mentoring process in their micro-teaching classrooms, but there were also difficulties in carrying it out.
