Abstract
This article aims to explain how the teachings of Saminism are applied to early childhood. As well as analyzing the parenting model used by the Samin tribe. This type of research is qualitative with an ethnographic research model. This research describes or explores information based on practical experience and ethno parenting values. Including the real experiences of parents or the Samin tribe in implementing ethno parenting, as well as the cultural and ethnic values involved in the process. With data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. And data analysis techniques using 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Saminism is an understanding of the various rules of daily life in social life. Research on ethno parenting practices in the Samin Tribe has significant relevance in the cultivation of children's character. Understanding how community groups shape children's character in accordance with the values of Saminism teachings, as well as how Samin's parenting practices can be an inspirational model for childcare.
