STANDARISASI PARAMETER SPESIFIK DAN NON-SPESIFIK EKSTRAK DAUN BINAHONG MERAH (Anredera cordifolia) DENGAN PERBEDAAN METODE EKSTRAKSI

Standardization is a process of characteristic, qualitative quantitative values used to guarantee the quality, efficacy, safety and purity of medicinal substances. As many as 95.6% of Indonesian people stated that traditional medicine had high benefits for the body. One of the traditional medicines is red binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia). Red binahong leaves have a high flavonoid content so they can be used to treat pain, ulcers, canker sores, improve blood circulation and lower cholesterol. Standardization of plants for traditional medicine is important to ensure high quality. This research aims to prove that red binahong (Anredera cordifolia) leaf extract using different extraction methods produces standardized extracts according to parameters. This research includes quantitative research with the True Experimental research model and RAL research type. The research results showed that the three extracts had specific parameter results that were standardized with the FHI edition II guidelines. In the non-specific parameters of drying shrinkage test of macerated extract 2.40%; reflux extract 3.90%; and the decoction extract was 95.38%, this shows that the decoction extraction did not meet the standard parameters. Meanwhile, in the test the water content of the macerated extract was 2.64%; reflux extract 2.96%; and the decoction extract was 95.00%, this shows that the decoction extraction did not comply with the standard parameters. This research has proven that red binahong leaf extract (Anredera cordifolia) with different extraction methods produces standardized extracts with specific and non-specific parameters.
