Abstract
Education is one of the basic needs for creatures who are cultured and have common sense, that is, humans who are also God's caliphs on earth. So that every human being who is born into the world really needs education so that they become smart, clever, creative, independent and so on in all respects and also become human beings who believe in God Almighty. Islamic Religious Education is an effort that is carried out consciously and activities to transfer experience, knowledge and skills by educators to students to direct people who believe and fear Allah, are virtuous and have intact personalities, who know, understand, live, have faith, have piety and have good morals. noble and practice the teachings in everyday life and will also direct humans in a better life, which ultimately can benefit themselves and others. The type of research used in this research is field research and is included in pure research. This research is also included in descriptive research, namely research aimed at describing or describing existing phenomena, both natural phenomena and human engineering. While the approach used in this study is an approach that includes aspects of a teacher where in researching, discussing and studying which includes the educational process such as how to
teach the teacher.
This study gave the result that the design of a scientific approach was carried out by PAI teachers earlier before the start of the semester arrived. In preparing the RPP the teacher also reviews the syllabus and looks at the KI and KD in the lesson plan, not only that the teachers also review the calendar, learning materials, learning methods, learning models, assessments, time allocation and learning resources. The application of a scientific approach with the Project Based Learning (PBL) method in PAI learning is carried out using several learning activities, namely preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The teacher's view of the application of the scientific approach at Klepek Sukosewu Bojonegoro Islamic High School is very good. The scientific approach makes students more active in learning and discussing all the 5M processes of observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating to make students interested in learning. Students are also motivated if they are supplemented with models and strategies in learning because in the learning process each student has their own style and preferences in learning.
