The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of songs from a text entitled "Hermeneutics Anality of Song Lyrics (DEEN ASSALAM) by Khoirun Nisa Sabyan Gambus. This study uses the kuliatative method with the approach of interpretation analysis, which is the basis of this study.
In this study, the lyrics of the song "Religion of Peace" by Sabyan, a band that carries the theme of religion, revolves around social problems about how to live life, although this song is not a popular new song for the singer. Very interesting for many groups that like even young children for many parents are keeping.
Data is analyzed using various data collection techniques (triangulation) and is performed continuously. The results of this study are using the analysis of Gadamer's semantics with the concept of grammatical contextual interpretations that deal with the meaning that humans must live side by side with other humans. We need to share with others, although what's shared may not change the world but may change the people we help with. The concept of psychological interpretation explains that the song is a meditation on the meaning of life. The conclusion in this study is that humans are the meaning of the lyrics of the song as social objects. Humans need other humans to live their lives. Because of this this song becomes a meditation for the song writer and then for the listeners of this song.
